Call for Submissions to Volume 4: Special Issue on Freedom
This issue will engage the theme of the National Communication Association’s 109th Annual Convention on freedom. The convention’s call recognizes the relationship between human communication and freedom, inquiring into the meaning of freedom and the role of communication in achieving freedom. In response to this theme, the Journal of Dialogic Ethics invites essays that consider connections between and among freedom, dialogue, and ethics, with a special focus on interfaith and interhuman perspectives.
Topics of contributions may include, but are not limited to, scholarly explorations related to academic freedom, freedom of speech, liberation theology, dialogic perspectives on American democracy, and intercultural/intergroup/interpersonal relations.
Those interested in contributing should contact [email protected] with an abstract of 100–150 words by June 30, 2024.

General Call for Papers
The Journal of Dialogic Ethics: Interfaith and Interhuman Perspectives publishes original articles that advance theory and research about dialogic communication through interfaith and/or interhuman perspectives. Articles are expected to use theory and methodology to invite interpretive understanding of dialogic ethics between and among persons, communities, countries, institutions, and/or faith perspectives.
The Journal of Dialogic Ethics: Interfaith and Interhuman Perspectives accepts manuscripts dealing with communication within the purview of dialogic ethics. Manuscripts should be original work not under consideration for another journal or publication. Each manuscript undergoes masked peer review by two members of the editorial board and/or readers. The editor makes final publication decisions.
We also welcome reviews of books at the intersection of dialogue, communication, and interfaith and interhuman perspectives.
